Matthew Stafford’s children spent the night in the hospital before the Rams’ playoff game

A playoff game against the Vikings might not be the biggest thing on Matthew Stafford’s mind.

Kelly Stafford, the Rams quarterback’s wife, and their four children spent time at the hospital over the weekend, according to Kelly’s social media posts.

In an Instagram story published on Saturday, Kelly had posted a photo of two of their children in a hospital bed, according to E! News.

“Last night was long,” she had written in the post. Back in bed and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. It feels like she drank a Celsius.”

In another post about her story, Kelly shared another photo of their children with Stafford in Arizona.

“Before that they were all smiles going with dad on his work trip,” she wrote alongside a photo of the girls with the Rams quarterback arriving in Arizona.

While the details of the girls’ hospitalization were not revealed, Kelly gave an update Sunday with a much more positive vibe.

In a post on her Instagram story, Kelly shared a photo of two of her daughters sitting in a booth at a Waffle House.

“Found our happy place in AZ. I promise we’re happy, just still,” she wrote alongside a sick emoji that seemed to indicate they were still feeling a little under the weather.

Another video shared on Instagram showed one of the girls resting her head on the other’s lap.

“Taking care of your little sister,” the video was titled.

A third update showed all four girls appearing to be resting on Sunday afternoon, with the caption suggesting they weren’t feeling like themselves.

Kelly revealed on her “Morning After” podcast recently that she and her daughters had been sick as she believed she and two of her girls had been battling the flu.

Stafford and Kelly share four daughters together — 7-year-old twins Sawyer and Chandler, 6-year-old Hunter and 4-year-old Tyler — and have been married since 2015.
