Confirmed Chelsea line-up against Bournemouth | News | Official site

Enzo Maresca has made ten changes to Chelsea’s starting line-up for tonight’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

Our boss fielded a strong side for Saturday’s 5-0 FA Cup third round win over Morecambe, but the quality in the Blues’ squad is such that the Italian was able to freshen up his starting XI once again.

Robert Sanchez is back in goal and is expected to be protected by a back four of Moises Caicedo on the right, academy graduate Josh Acheampong and Levi Colwill in the middle, with Marc Cucurella on the left.

Romeo Lavia, who played 45 minutes against Morecambe, makes his first start in more than a month following injury and should be partnered in midfield by Enzo Fernandez.

Noni Madueke is back on the right flank, Jadon Sancho should be on the left and Cole Palmer is likely to fulfill the central role he has occupied for most of this season.

Nicolas Jackson is back in charge, with the Blues able to name a strong substitutes bench, with Reece James, Pedro Neto, Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku among the replacements.

Chelsea: Sánchez; Caicedo, Acheampong, Colwill, Cucurella; Lavia, Fernandez (c); Madueke, Palmer, Sancho; Jackson

Substitutes: Jorgensen, James, Gusto, Tosin, Veiga, Neto, Joao Felix, Nkunku, Guiu
