TMZ reports that the video quickly went viral and Malone later committed self-harm. Nautica Malone reportedly died Saturday, Jan. 11, of an alleged self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to New York Daily News .

Bikini Beans Coffee shared a message on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, January 14 in response to the passing of Nautica Malone. The chain’s java store offered prayers to Malone’s family, but stressed that the protection of their employees remains their top priority.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the person involved at this difficult time. This was an unfortunate and tragic situation. As a company, the safety of our employees is always our highest priority. In this case, an individual chose to commit a crime on one of our locations. We take incidents like this very seriously and remain committed to protecting our team and maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Thank you for your continued support.”

Nautica Malone’s death happened just days after the incident at a Bikini Beans Coffee drive-thru. According to TMZ, Malone arrived at the drive-thru with no pants on, and an employee noticed his lack of clothing while taking his order. The employee then alerted the manager when Malone appeared at the window naked from the waist down.

The manager allegedly recorded a video of him at the drive-thru window while he was engaged in a sexual act. The video was later shared on social media, sparking accusations of inappropriate behavior against Malone.
