West Gray supports three new proposed cell towers.

The council approved support for the proposed towers on Hamilton Lane in Glenelg as well as on Concession 6 NDR and Concession 2 WGR in Bentinck during a meeting on Tuesday.

While final approval of the towers falls to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, West Gray can grant a consent for the proposed towers.

Director of Community and Development Services Karl Schipprack says that these 45 meter shared towers aim to improve services in the area.

They are the latest cell towers to be proposed to the council after three were proposed last month.
