Lara Trump wears blue Rabanne coat at Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration

Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump, attended the 2025 presidential inauguration in Washington, DC with her husband and their two children. As the youngest son of President Donald Trump, Eric and his family played a visible role at the event, with Lara Trump donning a navy ensemble for the occasion.

Lara chose a long, double-breasted navy coat from Rabanne with a fitted silhouette and textured chevron finish and frayed details at the cuffs and hem. The coat was accented with silver buttons and a high neckline. She styled the look with sleek blonde waves, minimal makeup and discreet accessories.

Their two children, Luke and Carolina, coordinated their mother’s look, with Luke dressed in a tailored navy suit paired with a red tie, while Carolina wore a navy cape coat with red piping details. Eric Trump complemented the family theme with a classic black overcoat, light blue tie and dress shoes.

For the three inaugural balls following the ceremony, Lara Trump, who was the former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, will wear custom designs by Miami-based fashion designer Oscar Garcia-Lopez.

Donald Trump’s second inauguration as the 47th president of the United States took place on Monday in Washington DC. According to tradition, the day began with a church service in St. John’s Episcopal Church and a White House meeting between incoming and outgoing presidents. The mandated swearing-in ceremony will take place on the west front of the US capitol. Carrie Underwood will perform “America the Beautiful” at the event. After the inauguration, guests and supporters of the president are expected to attend three evening parties, including the Commander in Chief Ball, the Liberty Inaugural Ball and the Starlight Ball.
