High pressure will build into the region from the US Midwest to the East Coast on Wednesday and act as our “cold pump” keeping temperatures well below average. Most of the region starts with temperatures somewhere between -3° to -10° for an air temperature, but once you factor in the wind, widespread chills of -15° to -20° are common, so take a pack if you do it. going out this morning.

High temperatures will warm into the 20s for Thursday and Friday with low overnight temperatures in the teens. Then it looks like we’ll climb into the lower 30s, right around freezing, as we hit the first part of next weekend on Saturday.
