Sydney Sweeney Combined Ombré Beach Waves with Snow Queen Vibes — See Photos

With snow blanketing much of the US right now, it can be hard to imagine the distant days of summer—long, loose, salty beach waves draping over our tank-top shoulders, not a care in the world other than whether or not our deodorant is working still. But while so many of us are trying to figure out the best way to straighten our hair under a warm beanie, Sydney Sweeney has decided to inject a decidedly summery hairstyle into an otherwise icy look.

Sweeney was spotted in New York City on Sunday night looking like an absolute snow queen: a white velvet Burberry shearling-trimmed belted jacket over a white turtleneck and pants. She even kept the ivory theme going with her boots and Burberry Knight Arc bag. The wearing of her outfit did not prevent her from literally digging in the snow, picking up, packing and throwing snowballs at the paparazzi and onlookers.

And somehow, despite falling snowflakes that would quickly compromise the average person’s hairstyle, Sweeney’s look remained radiant—reminiscent of the warmer weather. Inch upon inch of ombré—starting with bronde at the mid-roots and transitioning to a golden blonde—looked smooth but not too “done.” Her beachy waves, which reached right down to her waist, remained ever so slightly messy and yet somehow flawless, as if the snow helped shape it to perfection like salt so effortlessly does.
