Delta offers waivers for Atlanta travelers due to winter weather in Georgia

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Delta Air Lines is offering waivers to customers traveling to or from Atlanta due to winter weather in Georgia.

The Atlanta-based airline said Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport could be affected by the cold weather moving across the state.

Delta is issuing waivers for customers booked on flights arriving at, departing from or connecting to the airport between Monday, January 20 and Tuesday, January 21.

The airline said customers should rebook their flights on or before Friday, January 24. Passengers rebooking for flights on or before January 24 will be eligible to have fare differences waived. Customers who move their flight after 24 January will have their change fee waived, but a price difference may still apply.
