Maya Jama, 30, cuddles her lookalike mum Sadie as she wishes her a happy 50th birthday before her ‘fit’ parent shows off her age-defying figure in denim shorts

Maya Jama cuddled her lookalike mother Sadie on Tuesday as she wished her a happy 50th birthday.

The Love Island host, 30, took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of herself hugging her parents with a sweet message.

Maya then shared another photo of Sadie showing off her age-defying figure as she modeled a pair of denim shorts, with Maya noting how ‘fit’ her mum was.

Her birthday message read: ‘Happy 50th birthday to my morrrr. Thanks for teaching me all the things, but mostly think f**k along while staying kind and true to yourself.

‘Icon to all those who have the pleasure of knowing you (sic)’.

Captioning her second snap with Sadie putting on a long display, she added: ‘You’re so fit too 50 where?!!!!!!? God bless these genetics’.

Maya also uploaded a video of herself and her mother enjoying a festive song with her brother and his friends.

The TV star has previously opened up about her relationship with her mother, revealing that their relationship is ‘a bit different’ because her mother had her when she was very young.

She told the Evening Standard: ‘She had me at 18 so our relationship was a bit different. I rebelled less because I was quite free.

‘My mum has always been like, “I want you to have your experiences – just tell me. I’m not going to judge you or shout at you.”

The star also admitted her mother has a wild side, saying: She’s banned from my parties though. She gets too drunk’.

It comes after Maya hit back with a perfect response to a fan after receiving a nasty request on X on Sunday.

The Love Island star was sent an inappropriate message on social media asking her to ‘flatulate through a walkie talkie’.

The presenter was left horrified by the message, hitting back: ‘At some point someone has to stop their ***y husband/brother/son tweeting after the pub.’

Fans quickly took to the comments as they were also shocked by the X post – formerly known as Twitter.

They wrote: ‘Well it’s niche; Just imagine sitting there and typing it out. Then I think ‘yup, that’s great! I will send it. Incredible;

‘Why through a walkie-talkie? Is it so he can’t smell it; I am embarrassed to read this;

Elsewhere, Maya turned heads in a cleavage-enhancing black dress as she returned to the Love Island villa in Sunday’s episode.

The host made a grand entrance when she arrived with big news for the islanders – leaving Tina Stinnes, 29, with a big decision to make.

Maya showed off her sensational figure in a ruched off-the-shoulder black dress complete with a plunging neckline as she gatecrashed the Islanders night.

When she arrived at the villa she announced: ‘Hello my dears! You didn’t expect me to interrupt your night, did you? Can you all join me by the campfire.’

‘What a first week you all have had, there has been a lot of…active!’ she added.

After checking in on the islanders and their couple, she announced: ‘Tina, welcome to the villa… things are about to kick up a notch.

‘Would you please come and stand next to me…’

She then revealed: ‘You now have the power to steal a boy to mate with.’
