Jasmine Harman has shared a personal update with fans. The Channel 4 star has presented property show A Place in the Sun since 2004.

The show follows property experts as they help British couples who have decided to swap Britain’s gray skies for sun, sea and sand abroad. Off-screen, the presenters regularly share personal updates and often give a glimpse of their time abroad.

The 49-year-old has taken part in the ‘Fit for Fifty’ challenge ahead of his birthday later this year on November 15. This is a fitness challenge designed specifically for people turning 50, usually involving a set period of time (such as 50 days) to focus on improving overall fitness once they reach the milestone.

Another celebrity who has taken up the challenge in recent months is Tipping Point host Ben Shephard. After a grueling few months, Ben’s last update said, “We finally did it!!”

Jasmine has been supported after her honest and open update about the challenge she is attempting. Taking to Instagram, she said: “It’s been a tough few months keeping my #fitforfifty journey going with Christmas, birthday and loads of work!

“So I was really excited to be staying at a hotel with a gym that @laurahamiltontv and I used to work out at all the time! It’s really given me the push to get back on track and renew the commitment I made to myself 8 months ago!”

Messages to the TV host said: “Keep it up you look amazing it’s a tough shot I have good and bad days!!! But worth the effort healthy heart healthy mind” and “You always look amazing @jasmineharman but it’s about you feeling good and being healthy.”

Others praised the Channel 4 star’s look, adding: “I think you’re absolutely gorgeous, so naturally beautiful, don’t be hard on yourself, you’re doing great and looking great” and “Wow 50 this year, you’re absolutely stunning !!”

Jasmine is set to take A Place in the Sun into an exciting new chapter after Channel 4 confirmed a major program change. The popular real estate show was broadcast at 18.00 for the new series that aired this month. New episodes of the program were previously broadcast on weekdays from
