Vincent Kompany ready for Bayern Munich to experience the atmosphere at Feyenoord

Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany lives for Champions League nights and will surely have his boys ready for their outing in Amsterdam against Feyenoord.

“We have a lot of experience in the team and I think the atmosphere is motivating for us,” said Kompany (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “I don’t look at the table. I’ve had a lot of fun with this new format. It’s no use looking at the table. If you win six games, you are in the top eight. Everything else is hard to predict. But I see us winning six games. That’s my goal.”

Kompany will not have his full arsenal at his disposal. The coach still has some players who are returning to form after experience injuries.

“It is important for us that the squad is gradually filled up again. Not everyone is at the same level of fitness due to injuries, such as Josip Stanišić. We have a very experienced team. This is a special away game. We will win as always and give our best performance,” noted Kompany.

Finally, Kompany touched on his experience training against Feyenoord boss Brian Priske.

“I played against him in my first year as coach. We were both under a lot of pressure, but we had some great matches. He has an attacking approach – at least in Belgium. But of course at the end of the day we all live by results,” said Kompany.
