ChatGPT crashes reported by thousands of users

ChatGPT appeared to be disrupted on Thursday morning as thousands of users reported problems with the site.

Users who tried to access the site saw an error message instead.

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, did not immediately return a request for comment. Its social media did not report any problems early Thursday morning.

On Tuesday, President Trump announced a joint venture between OpenAI, SoftBank and Oracle to create at least $100 billion in computing infrastructure to power artificial intelligence. OpenAI’s CEO, Sam Altman, was at the White House for the announcement.
