Fast-moving brush fire prompts evacuations in Pinal County community

QUEEN VALLEY, AZ (AZFamily) – Certain residents of a Pinal County community have been asked to evacuate due to a fast-moving brush fire that started Thursday morning.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office issued a “Go-Evacuate” alert shortly after 1 p.m. 10:30 a.m. for residents living in the southwest region of Queen Valley. Deputies say those in the affected area should leave the area immediately.

Additionally, residents living in the northern and western regions of the Queen Valley have been placed in “Ready” status.
