Miami Heat fans are all saying the same thing about Kel’el Ware’s performance in the shock loss to the Trail Blazers

Just when there was some positivity for the Miami Heat, the team fell to a loss against the Portland Trail Blazers.

It hasn’t been an easy few weeks for the Miami Heat amid constant speculation over Jimmy Butler’s future that shows no signs of abating.

There was one real positive for the team this weekend amid a lackluster performance from Butler, with Kel’el Ware and Bam Adebayo really impressing during their time on the court together.

Adebayo praised Ware in the lead-up to the Portland game, where Erik Spoelstra brought the draft pick into the starting lineup.

Fans raved about Kel’el Ware

The positive sentiments surrounding the Miami Heat were reinforced by the fact that the team fell to a defeat to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Just behind Duncan Robinson’s 22 points, Kel’el Ware scored 20 and posted a double-double with 15 rebounds.

Heat fans weren’t happy with the loss, but they were very impressed with Ware’s performance.

One wrote on social media: “Kelel Ware stat sheet is insane every game.”

Another added: “Pat really said we got Wemby home with Kelel Ware and he was right.”

“Kelel Ware such a good man,” wrote another, while one fan wrote: “Kelel Ware is a beast.”

Another impressed fan wrote, “Kelel Ware is already better than Bam offensively and he’s just a rookie.”

“The only bright spot in this game is Kelel Ware,” reflected another.

Kel’el Ware gets the backing

Kel’el Ware won’t feel good about coming in as a starter and seeing the team lose, but there’s more to it than that.

Ware has high potential, and coach Erik Spoelstra spoke highly of his performance after the game. Spoelstra said Ware can expect to continue in the lineup.

He explained: “Obviously the upside is very encouraging. That’s why he’s in the starting lineup right now. Honestly, we’ve got to get him in there for more minutes.”
