Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal reunite in mysterious photo

Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal are definitely on to something.

On Wednesday, January 22, the duo has shared a photo of himself on Instagram. The picture was a clear homage to their film from 1989 When Harry met Sally: Crystal, 76, wears a sweater like Harry’s iconic in the film and the set looks similar to the one used for the interviews in the rom-com. The shirt and blazer worn by Ryan, 63, also recalls Sally’s film look.

Ryan captioned the photo: “It’s finally happening, we’re reuniting for something iconic. Can’t wait to see you all soon .” Crystal also posted the photo and caption on his page – his very first ever Instagram – fans in the comments were excited to see them together, with many wondering what the surprise is.

Ryan and Crystal have been lighting hearts ever since they starred When Harry met Sallydirected by Rob Reiner and written by the late Nora Ephron. The film also starred the late Carrie Fisher as Sally’s best friend Marie and the late Bruno Kirby as Harry’s best friend Jess. Both Crystal and Ryan received Golden Globe nominations for the film, and Ephron’s screenplay was nominated for an Oscar.
