After receiving his second multi-game suspension this month, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler’s relationship with his team has reportedly deteriorated completely.

During a performance at The Pat McAfee Show On Thursday, ESPN’s Shams Charania painted a bleak view of Butler’s remaining connection to the Heat.

“This relationship is over with as far as they are, I don’t think you want to put the genie back in the bottle,” Charania said (1:30 Mark).

Butler requested to be traded from Miami and Charania reported Earlier this week, he “tripled” on his request. However, he found himself in hot water over his choice not to travel with the team to Milwaukee for Thursday’s game against the Bucks, which fueled the suspend him in two games. It was just a few weeks ago that the team suspended Him to seven games for “several instances of behavior detrimental to the team during the season.”

Charania noted Thursday that this isn’t the first time Butler chose not to travel with the Heat, and he informed the team of his decision to go to Milwaukee separately. Still, Miami’s choice to suspend him indicated there is a “zero tolerance policy” regarding his antics.

Butler’s exit from Miami seems imminent, but it’s hard to imagine many teams being motivated to trade him after seeing how things have played out between him and the Heat.
