NBA: Nikola Jokic beats 66 feet Trepinter for Denver V Sacramento

Nikola Jokic scored a three-point three-feet as the Serbian noted his fifth consecutive triple-double when Denver nuggets saw Sacramento Kings off with 132-123.

The 25-year-old top scored for nuggets with 35 points, 22 rebounds and the season’s highest 17 assists.

Jokic has joined the Philadelphia 76ers legend Wilt Chamberlain – a quadruple most valuable player – as the other player in the NBA story to note 35 points, 20 rebounds and 15 assists in a single match.

But it was Jokic’s threepoints at the end of the third quarter that will be remembered the longest.

With 1.7 seconds left on the clock and his pages 110-85 ahead, Jokic took possession and let fly from 66 feet. He barely celebrated when his teammates bullied him when the ball found the bucket.

“When you play, you will do every single shot,” Jokic said.

“I took it to handle it and I managed it. It’s a lucky shot, not really a shot with high percentage, but I took it to handle it. It’s three points. It will help us.”
