Trace shared a photo of the two when he asked Billy Ray to give his children back in his life.

“When my earliest memories all I can remember is to be obsessed with you and believe that you were the coolest person ever,” the metro station singer began. “I wanted to be like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life. Unfortunately, the man would as I would be desperate as I hardly recognize now. It seems that this world has beaten you down, and it has become obvious for everyone except you.

“You might be sorry for me for sending this but I could really care less at this time. Me and the girls have been really worried about you for years but you’ve pushed us all away. Noah has desperately wished you should be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her.

“I don’t know what you are struggling with exactly, but I think I have a pretty good idea and I would love to help you if you would open and receive help. You know how to reach me. Until that day comes I will continue to pray for you.
