Lady Vols’ Kim Caldwell feeds a boy

Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) – Kim Caldwell, head coach of Lady Vol’s basketball team, gave birth to his first child on Thursday.

Tennessee Athletics told WVLT News that Caldwell was not traveling with the team to Austin, Texas for their match.

“She and husband Justin are the proud parents of a new son, Conor Scott Caldwell,” officials said. “Mom, dad and baby are doing well.”

The university said assistant coach Jenna Burdet will take over until Caldwell returns.
