NBA All-Star Game 2025 starters, lists: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokić headlines with the most votes

The starting lineups for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game were announced Thursday, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who received more than 4.4 million fan votes, the most of any player. The leading vote-getter among Western Conference All-Stars was Nikola Jokić.

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will be played on February 16 at the Warriors’ home arena, San Francisco’s Chase Center. Here are the starting fives for the Eastern and Western Conferences:

All-Star reserves will be announced on January 30, as chosen by the NBA’s 30 head coaches.

Gilgeous-Alexander leads the NBA in scoring with 32 points per game. game and ranks second in steals with an average of 2.1. Antetokounmpo is the league’s second-leading scorer with 31.5 points per game, while Jokić is currently third with 30.1 points and Tatum is fifth with 27.4 points.

Towns, Jokić and Antetokounmpo are among the league’s top five in rebounds per game. game, and Jokić is also among the top five assist leaders along with James.

Charlotte Hornets’ LaMelo Ball received the most fan votes among East guards, but did not win a starting spot.

The vote was 50% determined by fans, with 25% counted among current players and a panel of media making up the other 25%. Ball ranked third in player voting among East guards, but seventh in media polling.

The media panel had San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama and Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis starting in the West frontcourt in place of James and Durant.

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will incorporate a new tournament format in an effort to create a more competitive competition. Instead of an East vs. West game, All-Star Sunday will feature a tournament with four teams consisting of eight players each.

Three of the teams will be staffed by the 24 players selected as All-Stars. TNT’s Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith lay out the rosters for these teams on February 6. The fourth team will win the Feb. 14 Rising Stars Challenge, featuring first- and second-year NBA players with G League standouts. Mark Daigneault will coach one of the All-Star teams thanks to the Oklahoma City Thunder, who currently have the best record in the West.
