Nikola Jokic gives off a sincere Russell Westbrook declaration after Denver Nuggets beat King

On Thursday night, Denver beat Nuggets Sacramento Kings (at home) with a score of 132-123.

Russell Westbrook has been a big addition to the team, and he ended the victory with 18 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal while shooting 7/10 from the field.

After the match, Nikola Jokic talked a lot about her teammate.

JOKIC (H/T DNVR NUGGETS): “I think he’s an amazing veteran. An amazing leader. Big influence on the young guys. Outside the field, I think he’s a really good guy to have around him.”

Westbrook and Jokic have become one of the most entertaining duos in the NBA.

They are both future Hall of Famers (and together have won four MVP prices).

Via Rob Perez: “Thinking about the answer Jokic gave on Shaq’s question about: Russ the other night. TL; DR JOKIC said essentially” Russy always knows “when/where/how to find him in the small window of options. I just saw Westbrook miss a wide open 3 with the game on the line, run into three guys, pull just enough attention from them, and dump it to Nikola in traffic, in the middle of the air, for a short two works, and anyway always does. ”

Jokic ended the victory with an incredible 35 points, 22 rebounds, 17 assists, one steal and two blockages while shooting 12/19 from the field and 2/3 from the three-point series of 37 minutes playing time.

Nuggets resumes the match on Saturday when they visit Minnesota Timberwolves.
