Raiders hire Pete Carroll in legendary coach NFL Return

Tom Brady has found his man for the Raiders – and it’s a familiar face.

Las Vegas reached an agreement to make Pete Carroll the franchise’s next head coach, according to multiple reports.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it’s a three-year deal with a fourth-year team option for the 73-year-old.

Carroll thrived as coach at USC and the Seahawks for over two decades — winning a national championship and a Super Bowl along the way.

The Seahawks surprisingly moved on from Carroll after last season.

Brady is a 5 percent minority owner of the Raiders, but reportedly had owner Mark Davis’ ear when it came to the decision.

The Raiders fired GM Tom Telesco and head coach Antonio Pierce after a full season that finished 4-13.

The Raiders hired John Spyytek earlier this week to replace Telesco as GM.
