Morgan Whittaker: Middlesbrough shuts in at £ 6M Agreement for Plymouth Argyle Forward

Plymouth Argyle Forward Morgan Whittaker closes for a transfer of £ 6m to the championship rivals Middlesbrough.

BBC Radio Tees reported Friday That the 24-year-old reviewed a medical prior to a permanent move to the river.

The move would see Whittaker interconnected with midfielder Finn Azaz – the couple had a fine partnership in the first half of last season before Azaz joined Boro after he was revoked by Aston Villa.

The couple was part of an impressive pilgrimage side under Steven Schumacher in the first half of last season.

But after Schumacher’s departure to Stoke City Whittaker’s goal scoring form has fallen off – his last goal was the winner of Plymouth as they won 1-0 on the Premier League Brentford in the FA Cup third round earlier this month.
