Four things to look for during the NFC Championship game on Sunday

  • WHERE: Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia)
  • WHEN: 15.00 one | FOX, FOX DEPORTES, NFL+

With only another victory needed to earn a quay in the Super Bowl Lix, the cream of the NFC crops stands on the championship on Sunday.

No. 2 Seeds Philadelphia Eagles will host No. 6 Seed Washington commanders, third and last time these NFC East opponents will face the most important game in their seasons so far.

After jumping from the playoffs early last year, the Eagles returned to the post season with something to prove and a goal of getting back to the Super Bowl and has so far crossed the necessary boxes. With their 16 wins, including two in the playoffs over Packers and Rams, this fourth time marks the franchise story, which Eagles has won 15-Plus games in one season. They made the Super Bowl in each of the previous three cases, including as late as two years ago in the Super Bowl LVII. Philadelphia hopes to continue this strip as they fight for a chance for the Lombardi trophy.

On the other hand, the commanders have risen to the top of the NFC in their first year under the new head coach Dan Quinn, and it was widely expected to be a reconstruction year with a rookie quarterback for one of the best seasons in the recent Washington -history. On the back of several wins at the last minute, including in the Wild Card Round, and an upset victory over the No. 1 ranked lions last week, the commanders are in search of their first Super Bowl performance since the 1991 season when Washington last won it all.

These two teams have already been exposed twice this year and split the series. Eagles won the victory in week 11, 26-18, and commanders followed up with a 36-33 win in week 16, Philadelphia ‘lonely loss in the last 13 season matches. This is thus the decision of both the season series and, more importantly, who is facing the winner of the Bills-Chiefs game in the Super Bowl Lix in just over two weeks.

Although this NFC East-Matchup apparently has its history, with the constant series, Kortrunde, won by Washington. In this fall season and season Trequel between these two teams, who will get out on top and go to New Orleans?

Here are four things to look at in this championship Sunday showdown between the commanders and the eagles:

1) How tall can Jayden Daniels’ star rise? When commanders chose Daniels with the total election # 2 last spring draft, they hoped for a franchise -quarterback to build a team around the years to come, but probably expected him to bring this level of success to the team in Just His first season. Daniels is just the sixth Rookie QB who starts a conference championship game, and the first to do it without the help of a top-3 scoring defense (the commander defense is 18.). After breaking several rookie records in the regular season because of his running abilities and stable arm, Daniels has continued to do so in his two postal season matches, which has hit the recognitions in a season that has put him in this year’s offensive rookie In the year. He is the first rookie to have a 100-plus pass rating in multiple playoff games, and his 4-0 TD-int ratio, 34.0 ppg average and 116.2 pass rating in the post-season put him first Among rookie quarterbacks. He has brought his team to this point with his veteran mindset and penchant for the last second heroik, and now there are only a few more goals in sight. Personally, with yet another win and two more touchdowns, he will break the records for most of a rookie qb in history, including playoffs. And more importantly, if he can lead his team to another troubled victory, he will be the first rookie to win a conference championship game and move on to the Super Bowl.

2) Eagles D seeks to continue dominance. Daniels comes in on Sunday, leading a potent violation that ranks No. 5 in the scoring, but he and his teammates now have to break through Eagles’ No. 1 -defense to beat their ticket to the Super Bowl. Philadelphia has seen a complete speed of their unit from last season to this, go from 30. In scoring defense and 31. In passing yards that are now allowed to sit on # 1 in total defense, number two in the scoring and first in passers -by yards allowed with the emergence of several stars and under the leadership of Vic Fangio. This resurrected unit now ranks first in the league in points per day. Allowed games (17.6) and total yards per Fight (286.1), including playoffs, and is ready to try to continue its impressive season by Stymie for commanders. In front, Pas Rush led by Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith Produced five sacks last week against Rams, and will try to break an offensive line that has enabled Daniels to be fired once in the post season. In the secondary, Darius SlayAt Quinyon MitchellThere is a fight against a shoulder injury, and Co. will have to limit the commander WR’s Terry McLaurin and Dyami BrownWho each has 85 plus receiving yards in both postal season games. Although the commanders have not had a turnover in this mail season, Eagles forced five in the team’s week 16 matchup, and have 16 takeaways in total in their last five games, a trend they will continue when they look against a title game win.

3) The Commander’s Loving Run Defense Faces Star RB. There is not much doubt about it Saquon Barkley Are the Eagles’ Present Belowing Weapons, the man they turn to the game after the game to get them the yards and points they need. And it’s no wonder why when he has repeatedly shown his ability to change the game in a single theater piece in this career year. After completing a 2,000-yard regular season, Barkley has been running wild in the Eagles’ two wins after the season so far, rushing in 119 yards against Packers and 205 last week against Rams for the highest rushing yards per year. Fight (162.0) in the history of the fall season. It includes two explosive touchdowns at 62 and 78 yards against Los Angeles, adding its seasonal season record of six Rush TDS on 60-Plus Yards. Barkley’s power has been difficult for anyone to contain this season, but the commanders will especially face a high task of limiting him. Washington completed the regular season ranked 30. In the league of Rush Yards allowed. And in last week’s disturbance over the lions, they allowed 201 yards. The Precedent is there for Barkley to have another big game on Sunday as he had over 150 scrimmage yards in each of the regular seasonal slopes between these two teams.

4) Can Eagles Pass Games Pull Up? Barkley’s extraordinary efforts have at times been necessary to offset Eagles’ problems in getting the air strike started. Last week turned out to be a more such competition as Philadelphia didn’t have much of a passport game that Jalen hurts Completed 15 out of 20 passports in only 128 yards and Eagles actually finished with only 65 Netto -passing yards. It was their lowest total of the season, but the third time they have had less than 100 Net Passports and the Seventh with Under 150. This has been a seasonal history that Eagles players have talked about, with a broad recipient AJ Brown points specifically on the snow -covered conditions as the cause of last week’s low output. But it has not only been last week when the passport has been missing, and it will only be more difficult to blow up what and for yet another complication it is not yet revealed with a Super Bowl performance on the line has this passing game question need an answer.
