New York Islanders quarter century team revealed

The NHL celebrates the best in the last 25 years by revealing teams in the quarter century for each of the league’s 32 franchises and Arizona coyotes.

Each club will be represented by a first team and second team of six players – three forwards, two defenders and a goalkeeper – who played for the franchise from January 1, 2000 to 31 December 2024. The first and second teams were selected by TV – Stations, national authors and local writers and NHL.com writers who have covered the respective teams, in addition to selecting former players.

The six players who were voted for every first team will be on the ballot for the NHL All The Quarter-Century Team, which will be elected via a fan vote starting in February.
