Wednesday Season 2: What’s in store?

The new season promises to dive deeper into Wednesday’s journey while tackling family drama, friendships, fresh mysteries and even old enemies. The creators and performers produce Al Gough and Miles Millar teased that it will be “darker and more complex.” They are also excited to explore more of the ADDAMS family’s history and introduce a number of new characters.

Season 1 left us with many unanswered questions, after Wednesday found himself entangled in an underground conspiracy at the Nevermore Academy. Season 1 spent 20 weeks on the global top 10 and reached the top 10 in 93 countries with 252.10 million views.

“Season 2 will be lovely dark, crazy and mysterious,” said Gough and Millar. “If we told you why, Wednesday would kill us. So our lips are sealed,” they added.

Jenna Ortega, who not only starred but also produced this season, catches perfect Wednesday’s Gothic charm. As Ortega previously told Tudum, Wednesday “sticks to his weapons” and refuses to please someone – a quality that fans love.
