Oklahoma 65-62 Arkansas (January 25, 2025) Game Recap

Fayettville, ARK .– Jeremiah fears had 16 points, and Jalon Moore scored the last three points in the game and ended with 13 when Oklahoma gathered to beat Arkansa’s 65-62 on Saturday night.

Johnell Davis buried a 3-pointer to pull Arkansas himself on 62, but Razorbacks were scoreless over the last 2:13. Moore made the first of two free kicks with 1:15 back to a one-point lead and closed the victory with a fastbreak can in the last second.

Fear made 4 out of 8 shots with a 3-pointer and all seven of his free kick for The Sooners (15-4, 2-4 Southeastern Conference) who noted back-to-back victories after a four-match’s losing row with their First conference road wins this season. Moore hit 6 of 14 shots and added six rebounds.

Davis had 18 points on 5-for-16 shooting to lead Razorbacks (12-8, 1-6), who have lost six of seven in their first season under John Calipari. DJ Wagner made up a total of 13 points and five assists. Adou Thiero and Reserve Zvonimir Ivisic both scored 10. Ivisic added six rebounds and four assists.

Brycen Goodine scored all nine of her points on 3-for-4 shooting from 3-point reach to help Oklahoma take a 35-31 lead for the break.

Davis made the second of two free throw to give the Arkansas lead on 42-41 with 12:47 back. Thiero and Ivisic hit back-to-back 3-Pointers to set up Razorbacks 50-44 with 10:06 to go. Luke Northweather and Fear were buried on back-to-back 3-point attempts at Oklahoma, and the couple made all six free throw to tie it in 50 a minute later.

Oklahoma travel to play No. 13 Texas A&M Tuesday. Arkansas Travel to play No. 9 Kentucky Saturday.
