Auburn Freshman leaves the bench after a fierce conversation with head coach Bruce Pearl

The late evening of college matches was a sight. Auburn ultimately achieved a fierce fighting 53-51 victory over Volunteers, marking Tennessee’s second consecutive loss in a row. Given the intensity and drama, this game is already a strong candidate for this year’s game.

One of the greatest stories of the night, however, involved Auburn Freshman Jahki Howard. At the pause, 6-foot-6 Posted a tweet with two emojis that made fans scratch their heads. He deleted the post immediately after the match.

It wasn’t the only drama about Howard. After a missed defensive assignment in the second half, head coach Bruce Pearl cheated him out on the bench. Howard was not happy with the criticism and he left the bench and did not return to the rest of the match.

For the sake of the tigers, this hopefully will not be a recurring problem for Howard. It will be interesting to see if there will be any kind of discipline or whether Pearl and his staff will treat it as a single situation.
