Derry -Chef Paddy Tally says that Gaelic football’s new rule for goalies “kills the game” after his side fell to Tyrone in Saturday’s Division One meeting in Healy Park.

One of the new rules ‘improvements’ designed by the Football Review Committee (FRC) allows goalies to create an overload in the half of the opposition.

Teams have to keep three outfield players in every half of the field, which means a progress goalkeeper can make it 12 V11 to the attacking side.
