Eagles VS Commander’s predictions

Washington was the road underdog in both of his playoff matches so far and won in both. But Commanders have not faced a defense as strong as Philadelphias during this playoff.

Rookie Quarterback Jayden Daniels picked apart Buccaneers‘Delivery defense with a completion rate of 68.5 %, 268 yards and two touchdowns. Those numbers were even better against they knocked up Lions Defense, and Washington was able to get his running game going on also against Detroit’s injurious defensive front.

After turning the ball into Downs on their first possession last weekend, Daniels and Commanders completed four consecutive scores to build a 31-21 lead during the break that they never gave back.

NFC East Second place is facing a much larger task against an excellent (and healthier) Eagles defense in the NFC championship game. Philadelphia held its first two post-season opponents to a combined completion rate of less than 60% and were selected from Packers Quarterback Jordan Love three times in the Wildcard round.

Daniels played well against Eagles in the two showdowns in the regular season between these division opponents, but Commander had trouble getting started in their running games in these matches. If these problems are not solved against the exceptional front seven, Philadelphia has, Washington’s offensive will start to look one -dimensional, which would be a major problem against Eagles Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio and his team.

In addition, the commanders have to find out a way to stop running back Saquon Barkley and Eagles’ Rushing Offensive as a whole. Barkley has been more successful against Washington than any other team in his career, and Commanders already allowed great days to opponents in their first two playoff matches.

Washington has stayed out of too many problems in winning the turnover margin to help stay in the matches, but if Philadelphia gets an early lead, they will knock on the stone with Barkley and march for another Super Bowl performance.

Eagles VS Commanders Statistics, History

As a division rivals and two of the oldest teams in the NFL, Philadelphia and Washington have one of the longest rivalries in the sport.

Commanders and Eagles have met a total of 182 times, including a playoff match: a 20-6 Washington victory in the Wildcard Round in 1991. Washington also has the small advantage of all time clashes in the regular season with 89 wins, 86 Losses and six draws.

Earlier in the season, Eagles won the first meeting between the two teams at home by 26-18. Commander won the second meeting when they hosted the intradivisional game in Maryland, 36-33.
