Score, highlights from the NFC Championship

game

Philadelphia – The Eagles are very confidential with Washington commandersThe opponent who stood in their way for another trip to the Super Bowl for three seasons.

The two are NFC East Rivals after sharing the season series. Eagles won 26-18 at the first meeting on November 18, while the commanders won the reverberation 36-33 on December 22.

“In a game where you play someone for the third time, of course you look at the things you have done to them what they have done to you, what was successful, all these different things,” Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said . “So it’s definitely part of our process every time we play a team year to year or several times a year.”

This is just the fifth matchup between NFC East enemies in the conference championship, but only in 38 years when Giants beat Washington. The Eagles were involved in one of these games and beat cowboys in 1980.

This is how this year’s NFC championship games go:

As if there was any doubt, Jalen hurt that he can run on his wounded left knee, run to the left to score from 9 meters out, giving Eagles a 34-15 lead with 8:58 back in the third quarter. Hurts created TD with passport 16 yards for AJ Brown, then 7 and 26 yards to Dallas Goedert.

Hurts did it with Cam Jurgens in the middle despite a back injury. He started the second half because Landon Dickerson, who started instead of Jurgens, injured his knees.

The commanders responded with Jayden Daniels ’10 -yard TD runs and 2-point conversion, and Cutting Eagles leads to 34-23 with 5:01 back in the third quarter.

Jalen Hurts threw a 4-yard touchdown pass with 39 seconds left in the first half, but the commanders responded with a 2 second field dimension. Eagles led 27-15 during the break.

The Eagles ‘TD was created when Jeremy McNichols fumbled on the kick return after Hurts’ 1-Yard Touchdown on a Tush push. Kenny Gainwell came as Washington’s 24.

Saquon Barkley had 85 yards on 9 bears, including TD runs of 60 and 4 yards on his first two touches of the game.

Hurts, playing with a knee injury, didn’t really get the task of running, but he showed good enough speed on scrambles to prevent Washington’s defense from squeezing on Barkley. Hurts was just fine to throw, go 12-for-18 in 141 yards and a TD in the first half.

141 Yards were more than Hurts’ total passing yards in each of the previous two matches.

Jayden Daniels had 139 Yard’s passers -by and 31 Yard’s rushing for Washington. Zane Gonzalez hit three field goals, the last one with 2 seconds left in half.

Washington had cut Eagles’ lead to 2 before Eagles took over. They decided to go after it on 4th and-5 from Washington’s 45 with 2:14 back. It was a gutsy call and Jalen hurt went deep to Aj Brown down the left.

Brown caught the ball over Marshon Lattimore in 31 yards down to 14. Eagles faced a 3rd and-13 from the 17 when Lattimore was called for the pass-interference on a ball intended for Devonta Smith in the final zone, giving Eagles a first down at 1.

Hurts then scored on a Tub-Push, but he stopped at the 2-point attempt after Lattimores’ unnecessary roughness penalty. Still Eagles a 20-12 lead with 1:44 left.

Jayden Daniels ’36 -yard TD-Pas to Terry McLaurin cut Eagles’ lead to 14-12 with 7:05 back in the second quarter after the two-point conversion failed. Daniels hit McLaurin on a slant, and he passes the defense to the final zone.

Jake Elliott’s matches from 50-Plus Yards continued as he missed 54 yards. Elliott was 1-for-7 from this interval in the regular season. It kept the scoring 14-6 Eagles with 8:49 pm back in the second quarter. The commanders were able to get a field goal after performing a fake point from their 31.

Punter Tress Way threw himself in 24 yards to Ben Sinnott and entered the Eagles’ territory. Zane Gonzalez hit a 46-yard field goal.

Saquon Barkley did not have to travel so far this time, taking an interior pass from Jalen hurts the middle before cutting right and getting to the pylon for a 4-yard TD race. It gave Eagles a 14-3 lead with 3:43 back in the first quarter.

The drive was created by Dyami Brown’s fumble after a reception that Reed Blankenship recovered at the commanders’ 48. Hurts finished 3 passports to get the ball to the 4 where Barkley took over. Barkley has 2 bears, 64 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Eagles needed 17 fewer plays than Washington to score when Saquon Barkley took a pitch from Jalen hurts left. He broke a tackle, turned field and scored. Just as it had Eagles a 7-3 lead. The commanders needed 18 pieces on their opening drive for a field goal.

Washington was 30 towards the race during the season. Eagles took advantage of when Landon Dickerson started in the middle instead of Cam Jurgens, who has a back injury. Tyler Steen took Dickerson’s place on the left guard.

Commanders open with 18-play drive, get fg

If Washington wanted to check the ball, the commanders did a good job on their opening drive. But they settle for a field goal of an 18-play drive. They spent 7 minutes, 3 seconds. They also converted two fourth downs. But they decided a 34-yard field goal instead of going after it on 4th and-3 from Eagles ’16.

Eagles Center Cam Jurgens, who is listed as questionable with a back injury, is on the game day list. But that doesn’t mean he plays. Left Guard Landon Dickerson took snaps in the middle during pre -heating. If it’s back, Tyler Steen would play left guard.

Nick Gates is the only other player on the list of center experience, but he is on the inactive list.

Eagles also listed QB Tanner McKee, CB Eli Ricks, DB Lewis Cine, Ol Darian Kinnard, G Trevor Keegan and WR Ainia’s Smith as inactive.

2 veterans get practice-squad height

Eagles announced on Saturday that they raised veterans of FB Khari Blasingame and LB Nicholas Morrow from the training team. In addition, the Eagles de Kj Henry signed the training team and released O Cameron Erving from that team.

Eagles vs. commanders prediction

When everything else fails, Eagles Saquon has Barkley while the commanders are 30 towards the race. But the biggest Barkley Neutralizer is not the commander’s defense, as much as it is evil as a running threat with the knee injury. So as back as it sounds, it may be necessary to pass the ball for Barkley to run. Hurts can and will.

The choice: Eagles 27, Commanders 23
