Taylor Swift shocks Arrowhead, roots for Chiefs to beat Bills

Taylor Swift walked in the Arrowhead Stadium tunnel for the last time of the 2024-2025 football season on Sunday.

Videos showed the singer arriving about 90 minutes before kickoff. A golf cart drove the Eras Tour star through the field tunnel, where flashing lights captured high-resolution images of her outfit.

Wearing a bold red lip, Swift walked through the tunnel in a black and gold Louis Vuitton beanie, zip-up jacket and chain purse. Swift completed the look with a black skirt, red tights and low black boots.

Swift – along with her mother, Andrea, father, Scott and brother, Austin – are supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelcein the AFC Championship Game between Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. The winner will go to the Super Bowl in New Orleans on February 9.

A history of home games, a touch of luck

The chiefs to win no. The No. 1 seed in the AFC division — which ensures home court advantage — couldn’t have worked out better for the Swifts. This season, she has only landed at home games where she is familiar with the Arrowhead staff and security.

Superstitious Swifties believe the 35-year-old is lucky. They invented the term Tayvoodoowho credits Swift with being a wizard.

The team is 8-0 with her in the crowd this season:

  • September 5: Chiefs beat Ravens 27-20
  • September 15: Chiefs beat Bengals 26-25
  • October 7: Chiefs beat Saints 26-13
  • Nov. 4: Chiefs beat Buccaneers 30-24
  • Nov. 10: Chiefs beat Broncos 16-14
  • November 29: Chiefs beat Raiders 19-17
  • December 21: Chiefs beat Texans 27-19
  • January 18: Chiefs beat Texans 23-14

And last year, Kansas City had a 10-3 record with Swift in place.

But the Buffalo Bills are looking to edge out the red-and-gold. The team beat Kansas in Buffalo 30-21 on November 17th. Although Swift was a 40-minute flight away in Toronto for the Eras Tour, she didn’t make the trip to the road game.

AFC Championship Part 2?

If the Chiefs win against the Bills, Swift can come down the field to congratulate Kelce, just like she did last year in Baltimore. Fans remember her hugging the tight end in a red sweater on the field after the game.

Kickoff is set for 5:30pm CT. The AFC Championship will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount+.
