Shaq Poster Harmfelt Kobe Bryant, Gianna Note to Tragedy’s 5th anniversary

Five years ago, on January 26, 2020, the world lost Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna in a tragic helicopter accident. Tribute poured throughout the day, including one from Bryant’s disposable Los Angeles Lakers star starmate Shaquille O’Neal.

Kobe and Gigi are survived by Vanessa Bryant and her children Natalia, 22, Bianka, 8 and Capri, 5, all growing up as fast as seen in their holiday shoe photos as a family.

On Sunday, an outflow of messages and photos hit social media to Kobe and Gigi including family friends Russell Wilson’s and his wife Ciara’s inner positions. Shaq followed his own later in the day with a truly touching message: “Miss You Lil Bro & Miss You Too Gigi #missyall #neverforgotton.” He shared lots of photo memories (roll through).

Shaq and Kobe were teammates at Lakers from 1996 to 2004, where they won three titles together in a three-peat from 2000-2002. Of course, there is a lot of history between the two that were not always good before their collapse in 2004, when Shaq went to Miami Heat.

Despite what happened between the two during their careers, they had a special bond and were one of the most feared duos in the NBA history. Shaq spoke at Kobe’s funeral with an epic speech involving an NSFW word with a funny memory.

Kobe would end his career with five rings to Shaqs Fire. “What if” if they never broke down will be one of the greatest in sports history.
