Josh Allen shared 2 tragic words before Bills’ death sentenced last possession

Buffalo Bills did it almost.

In the closing moments of the AFC title game, they had the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on the ropes. But with the game on the line, Bills’ violation folded. Their last possession of the evening was uncovered by a brutal fourth fall from the tight end Dalton Kincaid, though Josh Allen gave him a chance to do the game.

In the end, Chiefs closed the bills by getting a couple of first downturns to cement a third straight trip to the Super Bowl.

All of this was especially tragic considering what Josh Allen seemed to say on the camera before Bills’ violation took the field last time. When Chiefs took a 32-29 lead, Allen was caught apparently and said, “I’m ready,” as if he were ready for his moment to take the bills to the Super Bowl.

Given what happened after, this sequence now looks so tragic for the superstar quarterback:

Josh Allen after Chiefs takes a 3-point lead with 3:33 to play in the AFC title game:

“Yes. I’m ready. “

Man. You have to feel bad for one of the best players of his generation.

Every time Allen has had a chance to Upend NFL’s latest dynasty, it feels like the bills have spontaneously burned for no good reason.

Unfortunately. Allen and his teammates just have to try again next year.
