Mike McCarthy will replace Sean McDermott as Bills Coach

The Buffalo Bills just lost ANOTHER AFC Championship under Sean McDermott and the Bills might just need a change in their coaching staff.

Sean McDermott has an 86-45 regular season record and has 6 straight 10+ win seasons. He has been consistent and even had a very unexpected season reaching the AFC Championship, but fell short of the ultimate goal. In the playoffs, he has a 7-7 record and they need someone to take them over the top.

Why Mike McCarthy?

McCarthy has an elite pedigree when it comes to regular season success, and that should at least give Bills fans confidence that this wouldn’t be an immediate downgrade. When Cowboys players were asked to discuss their thoughts on Mike McCarthy, they often praised and stood by him. There is a real conversation that McCarthy’s failure in Dallas was more about Jerry Jones’ situation around him and having Dak Prescott not considered a “Superstar”.

This change would be necessary, especially if Joe Brady decides to entertain the New Orleans Saints head coaching job.

There should also be serious front office conversation around Josh Allen with better talent in the offseason, as Mack Hollins as the number two receiver isn’t going to cut it.
