The earthquake felt in Boston was centered in Maine

Boston – an earthquake that was felt in Boston, Massachusetts Monday morning was centered in York Harbor, Maine according to United States Geological Survey. It was also felt in New Hampshire and Rhode Island USGS cards.

The earthquake with a size of 3.8 happened at. 10:22 it was originally reported as a size of 4.1 and then 3.9.

“We are not sitting on any active error lines,” said WBZ-TV-performing weather producer Terry Eliasen. “But again for our area (IT) is really marked.”

Shaking could be felt for a few seconds in the area as well as in the WBZ TV news room in Boston.

“My house shook pretty well,” said WBZ TV anchor David Wade, who lives just west of Boston.

Last year, a 4.8 Earthquake Centered in New Jersey was Felt in parts of Massachusetts.
