Earthquake shakes New England

ONE Earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 off the coast of Maine shook New England Monday morning, shaking houses and buildings from Maine to Boston to Cranston, RI

The United States Geological Survey said the quake was centered about 6 miles southeast of York Harbor, Maine.

The USGS initially estimated the earthquake at a magnitude of 4.1 before downgrading it to 3.9 and then to 3.8.
