COIN -Frontman announces resolution after ‘Revelations around my bandmates’

Chase Lawrence from Nashville Pop-Rock Trio Coin has announced that they will no longer continue as a band after the recent “revelations” about his bandmates appeared.

Front man and keyboardist shared the “heartbreaking” news from the band’s official Instagram account Tuesday (January 28).

“I recently became aware of revelations about my bandmates and will share some thoughts directly with you all,” Lawrence began. “I believe in accountability and do what is right.”

The coin had originally announced earlier this month that they went on a job without drummer Ryan Winnen, who left the group “To focus on some personal affairs.”

However, it seems that Lawrence has now also shared ways of guitarist Joe Memmel.

“Three months ago, I made the decision to move on without my drummer, and yesterday I separated ways with my guitarist,” Lawrence continued. “Their behavior is directly in conflict with my values, and I am destroyed for all who have been influenced by these actions.”

“Creating a space for love and joy through music has always been my mission. To discover that this space has been compromised by the actions of others is really heartbreaking. “

He added: “Unfortunately, this development has led me to the decision that Coin can no longer continue as a band.”

Sorry to listeners and fans for “the disappointment this can bring,” he added: “Your support has meant the world to me and I owe you to be honest and resolute in tackling this situation.”

“Refunds for the upcoming tour are available at the place of purchase,” he noticed, before ending a more positive note. “There’s a lot to find out about the future, but I know I’m not done making music yet.”

Lawrence did not offer any further information about the nature of the revelations about his former bandmates.

In the comments of the post, many fans expressed horror over the band’s split. “Really sad, I never got to see the coin in person,” one wrote. “But hunting, your music has meant a ton to me over the years. I will definitely be aware of what’s next and wish you the best. “

Another added: “Coin Breaking Up was not on the Bingo card 2025. Thanks for the amazing Vibber that your music brought. “

“I’m literally the heart bridge,” a third wrote. “Coin has been my favorite band for seven years, but I’m proud of the decision you’ve made to stick to your morality. Can’t wait to see what you do next. “
