Lakers lose Anthony Davis vs. Sixers due to abdominal load

Philadelphia-Los Angeles Lakers Big Man Anthony Davis went out early on Tuesday evening’s 118-104 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers with an abdominal muscle tribe and did not return.

Davis Subbed out with 2:10 back in the first quarter, with LA, which led 20-17, and immediately went to the dressing room for examination. When he was excluded for the rest of the game at the break, Sixers were up 73-57.

LA started the third quarter with Dorian Finney-Smith at Davis’ Square with Starters.

Davis came at night on a tear, an average of 32.8 points of 58.2% shooting, 15 rebounds and 2.5 blocks during the Lakers’ four-match winning stripe.

“He is playing at a really high level right now,” said Lakers coach JJ Redick about Davis before the Sixers game. “He has his pop and his juice left.”

Davis ended with four points on 2-of-3 shooting, two rebounds and one stealing Tuesday.

Lakers will continue their Five-Games Road Trip in Washington on Thursday and New York on Saturday before returning to LA to meet Clippers in another road game at Intuit Dome on Tuesday.
