Lauri Markkanen, Daymond Green, Kuminga off Warriors vs. Jazz

After two much-needed off-days, the Golden State Warriors are back at work tonight and hosts Utah Jazz In a game, they absolutely need to win. And in a nice tempo change, Warriors no longer stand out as the dramatically more wounded team than their opponent, although smaller because Golden State is healthy, and more because Utah is also opened.

Here is the full injury -report for tonight’s game, which is at. 19:00 PT in the NBC Sports Bay area.

Warriors

Out – Draymond Green (left calf stem)

Warriors announced on Monday that Green is starting to participate in the activities on the field again, but that he will miss the next three games starting tonight. The hope is that he will return to practice this weekend and will be back on the field on Monday night when Warriors go to Orlando Magic in their last home game before hosting the All-Star game on February 16.

Out – Jonathan Kuminga (Right ankle Splace)

Golden State also released an update on Kuminga on Monday, announcing that he will be evaluated in two weeks. This means that JK is probably out through the All-Star break, and is probably targeted at a return in Warriors’ first match back from the break when faced with Sacramento Kings on February 21.

Jazz

Out – Lauri Markkanen (Handling Low Back Damage)

Warriors are not facing the high goal scorer they tried so hard to acquire during the season as the field can be missing out on his 11th game of the year. Utah has done pretty well (relatively) without their top scorer this year … They’ve gone 4-6, while the field can be sidelined, compared to only 6-28 when he’s healthy.

Out – Jordan Clarkson (left plantar fasciitis injury management)

Golden State catches a break by meeting a jazz team that is on the back of a back-to-back. The field can and Clarkson – which combines to average 35.6 points per Match this year – played both last night in Utah’s loss to Milwaukee BucksBut will rest their injuries in this game.

Out – John Collins (Disease)

Collins sits for other reasons, but he is also a major loss for jazz, especially by offense. Utah will be without their No. 1 (Markkanen), 3 (Collins) and 5 (Clarkson) scoring tonight … and they already have a bottom 10-over-the-time.

Out – Walker Kessler (Left Shoulder Contusion)

In addition to losing three of their best Scoring, jazz losing their most effectivealso. Kessler, a third -year center, leads NBA with a 73.3% field target percentage this season. Life was just as easier for Trayce Jackson-Davis, Kevon Looney and Quinten Post, as Kessler is a mammoth of a big man in old-school who average 11.3 points, 11.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per day. Match.

Out – Taylor Hendricks (right fibula -break)

You have to feel for the jazz. Not only are they one of the worst teams in the NBA, but they have lost a lot of seability this year. Part of that has been the loss of Hendricks, a lottery sale in 2023 that sustained a seasonal ending injury in just the third game of the season.

Out – Johnny Juzang (right fracture)

Juzang is still trying to find his foot in his third NBA season, but he has had a quiet strong season. He has already played a career best 32 games, and despite playing only 17.8 minutes per day. Night, it is an average of 7.3 points per night. Fight and shoot 40.0% from Deep. This will be his ninth straight fight missed and it seems that he will also have to miss a little more.

Out – Cody Williams (Left Ankle Disclosure)

This damage list will be very long! In addition to missing out on their lottery pick from 2023, jazz will also be without their lottery pick from 2024. Williams, the 10th total election in June, has modest statistics in its rookie year, but has played 21 minutes per day. Match.

Accessible – Collin Sexton (Left Fourth Finger Dip Avulsion Fracture)

Utah’s damage list is so long that it would be almost easier to list whom is Available, and the jazz apparently had the same thought by putting two such players on the report. Sexton, the team’s second -leading goal scorer, was a question mark last night, but has been cleared to play.

Accessible – Oscar Tshiebwe (left fourth finger extension tear)

What happens to the left fourth fingers in Utah? And why don’t we call them ring fingers? Either way, the tshiebwe — a non-drawn second year’s great man is available, and given how extensive the list of jazz players out, I would guess he will see some actions. That’s big news for Tshiebwe, who has played in only three games this year, and only 11 in total in his young career.

Enjoy the action, DUB Nation!
