NBA: Golden State Warriors beat Oklahoma Thunder Despite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Heroics

Golden State Warriors resisted a 52-point feature from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to beat the Western conference leaders Oklahoma Thunder 116-109.

Canada’s Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points in the first half as his side led 58-48 during the break, but the Golden State fought back to withdraw for victory.

The website was led by Andrew Wiggins 27 points, while Stephen Curry scored 17 of his 21 in the second half.

“We just remained solid. Just around the effort,” Curry said.

“We need every possible victory. We haven’t really developed anything consistent with regard to the victory column. So this is a great test.”

Despite the defeat, Thunder remains the top of the Western conference, while the Golden State improves their record to 24-23.

In Wednesday’s other matches, Cleveland Cavaliers maintained their lead over the sound masters Boston Celtics at the eastern conference with victory over Miami Heat.

Cavs, who lacked Darius Garland, Caris Lever and Isaac Okoro, was led by 34 points from Donovan Mitchell in a 126-106 victory.

Celtics Dunket Chicago Bulls 122-100 with Kristaps Porzingis Sinking Eight Three-Pointers in his score of 34.

Elsewhere, there were victories for New York Knicks over Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers against Detroit Pistons, while Los Angeles Clippers beat San Antonio Spurs.
