“We touched a lot of things. It was over three hours to my surprise. It was just he and I, his chief of staff Susie Wiles and the person who helps control things for me, Larry Cohen.”

Gates continued: “So the four of us sat there, and it was quite far. Global Health’s the area I work in and such amazing things have happened and can happen there.

“I talked a lot about HIV and that the foundation literally works on a cure for it. We are at an early stage and therefore he accelerated in the Covid days of vaccine innovation.”

He continued to explain how he controlled with the president whether he would be able to develop the cure for HIV at the same speed and how they were both ‘rather excited’ over the opportunity.
