Facts Control of RFK Jr.’s claims of vaccines, pesticides at confirmation hearing

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s confirmation hearing Wednesday to lead the Department of Health and Human Services so that senators question the environmental lawyer about his view of vaccines, abortion, pesticides and even Lyme disease.

The senators asked Kennedy about views that he has often promoted on vaccines that contravene consensus from public health scientists and the ordinary scientific community, despite saying he “supports vaccines” on Wednesday.

The nominee was also questioned by his previous comments, including claiming that pesticides make children become transient.

In addition, the senators Kennedy asked for comments he made in support of abortion rights when he was a registered Democrat and a presidential candidate from 2024 as opposed to the recent comments that support President Donald Trump’s views and believed that Laws regulating the procedure.

Claim: CDC approved vaccines from Covid-19 “without a scientific basis.”

Context: Covid vaccines are among the most studied recognition in history, where large clinical studies show that the health benefits far exceeding any risks.

Claim: Kennedy says he had nothing to do with the measles outbreak in American Samoa

Context: The 2019 outbreak of measles in 2019 led to more than 5,700 cases and 83 deaths. Ministry of Health quoted Kennedy’s visit and rhetoric as a worsening of vaccine hesitation at a crucial moment

Claim: Kennedy: ‘I probably said, Lyme -Se disease is “Very likely a militarily constructed Bioweaapon”’

Context: Lyme disease is caused by a type of bacteria and spreads through the bite of black

Claim: Kennedy says he has never claimed that pesticides lead children to become transking

Context: Kennedy has repeatedly suggested environmental toxins, including those in drinking water, is linked to gender identification in children. These claims are unfounded.
