Lakers’ LeBron James puts perfect son Bronny James’s match in perspective

In a 118-104 loss to Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Laker’s Rookie-Guard and son of the superstar’s pointed LeBron James-Bronny James in the first ample playing time of his young career. The USC product tried and missed five shots and struggled to find his foot-footed subject against All-Star Guard Tyrese Maxey and Sixers.

But LeBron James is not worried when he perfectly put his son’s battle in perspective after the game, notes to journalists that this essentially was Bronny’s first genuine Taste of NBA action.

“Obviously, it’s his first extensive minutes with us,” James said. “We had the first game where it was just a moment … and it was a good moment. But tonight his first opportunity was to be with the big guys, be with the big club and he will go on with using it and getting better and better.

Before Tuesday’s loss, when the younger James played 15 minutes, he had never played more than five minutes of action on the field for Lakers. But with the veteran Guard Gabe Vincent Sidelinet due to a knee injury, Laker’s coach JJ Redick Bronny gave a chance to make an impact.

Redick, after acknowledging that he may have put bronny in a “tough place”, offered a tough love for lakers -rookie.

“Maybe put him in a tough place,” Redick said. “Airy yesterday, national television games in Philly and all that. He didn’t play well, but he has played well in the ready -to -do games and he has played well in G (the league).”

Bronny, who just last Friday scored a Career High 31 points for South Bay Lakers in G League, admitted that the call for the NBA caught him away but noted That he thinks he is on the right way.

“I feel like I’m much more prepared now,” he said. “Again, just getting out and staying ready for the G League -Stint and the season is down on the road a little more, just be ready. And come in and play smart.”
