Anna Kournikova discovered in wheelchair in the first public observation in 2 years

Former tennis star Anna Kournikova was recently discovered in Miami and marked her first public observation in two years.

The 43-year-old retired athlete, who shares three children with singer Enrique Iglesias, was seen in a wheelchair with a group of people in Bal Harbor Shops on Saturday, January 25, according to pictures obtained by it New York Post.

Kournikova, wearing an orthopedic trunk and a black sweatsuit, became with her and Iglesias’ daughters, Lucy, 7 and Mary, 4, during the excursion. The couple also shares Nicholas, Lucy’s twin brother.

An unidentified woman pushed Kournikova’s wheelchair through the parking lot as the group entered the stores in Miami.

Kournikova withdrew at the age of 21 due to continuous injuries. She played professional tennis for eight years before hanging up her rack.

Iglesias, 49, and Kournikova have kept their relationship pretty private since they met on the set of his “Escape” music video in 2001.

In an interview from 2023 with people, Iglesias remembered to meet Kournikova and how the couple “grew up” together in the limelight and set a solid foundation for their relationship.

“(The video changed my life) in ways I didn’t even think about,” Iglesias said of meeting his long -standing partner. “When we met – even though she came from the sports world – in a way, we got kind of each other. She knew how my world was. I knew kind of what her world was. So understanding helped a lot.”
