Syracuse Orang Men’s Basketball: Predictions and Voting against Stanford

The Syracuse Orange (9-11, 3-6) make their first ACC trip to California to meet Stanford Cardinal (14-6, 6-3). Tip-off is late for us East Coast people with a 10 pm. 23.00 Start of Espnu, and here’s what we predict:

Kevin: Stanford 78, Syracuse 71

There has been a better insult from Orange, but I don’t see how they contain Maxime Reynaud tonight. Reynaud will pull Eddie Lampkin away from the edge, and if Syracuse tries to go less, he will probably go into the position of Davis and Majstorovic. To have a chance of this road gain, Syracuse will need to limit revenue and continue to hit shots beyond the arch.

Judgment Stanford 85, Syracuse 75

A recent shit gives me break Syracuse can come with a win, and then there is the fact that Stanford enters this game on a three-game victory with an 11-1 record at home a year. The adjustment to go out to the West Coast is already tough enough, but just as hard tries to get enough stop against a Stanford overgrowth scoring in half a half brand in ACC that doesn’t turn the ball over either. A scoring of drought coming out of the break sees the orange fall afterwards and fails to recover.

Max: Stanford 82, Syracuse 68

Staying late for this one is likely to be a mistake. As the verdict pointed out, Cardinal has been almost automatically at home and perfect in ACC Play and beat their conference opponents with an average of 19.5 points over these four games. If this was in the dome, it may be another story, but the turnover error hits orange hard again in a double -digit road loss.

Sam: Stanford 75, Syracuse 67

I think both teams start to get sluggish in this one, but eventually take over Raynaud and Stanford pulls out the victory.
