Do you wonder what Fiona Apple and Tracy Chapman may be? Not sure what “soft rock” refers to? Don’t worry, because I’m here to help you with the answers to the day’s New Mini Crossword.

The New Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper’s larger and long -term crosswords. Most days there are between three and five clues in each direction of one five after five grids, but the riddles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays.

In contrast to its larger siblings, New Mini Crossword is free to play on New York Times Website or New Play -App. You need, however, a New Play subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives.

To help you avoid getting stuck and had to reveal missing letters, here is New Mini Crossword Reply to Thursday, January 30 (Spoilers are of course in front of):

It took me 1:22 to complete the day’s New Mini.

I fought a little with this one. I only got the last two answers on the whole page on my first passport. But not quite as I thought 8 across was “paper.” Oddly enough, enough letters matched the actual answer to being able to get Tampa and Cameo. It was only when I came to the fair that I realized “paper” wrong.

It took me a few seconds to puzzle talc. The rest of the words fell into place after that.
