Crowd collects in Tel Avivs ‘hostages square’

Results of people have gathered in Tel Aviv’s “Hostage Square” to celebrate the release of Israeli soldier Agam Berger and await news about the seven other hostages to be released by Hamas today.

Many could be seen by keeping signs of the hostages intended for release, including Arbel Yehoud, 29, Gadi Moses, 80 and five Thai hostages that have not been named. Others held up with the names and faces of hostages that remain held in Hamas’ captivity.

“Mixed in with the joy of the release of Agam Berger are anguish from the families to the hostages still in Gaza, both alive and dead,” time families forum, a group representing the families of those held trapped in the enclave said in A statement this morning after Berger’s release.

Israeli Government embraces’ Agam Berger

The Israeli government “embraces Agam Berger,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement.

“The government, along with all security agencies, will accompany her and her family,” it said.

Israeli soldier Agam Berger handed over to the Red Cross

Israeli soldier Agam Berger has been handed over to the International Red Cross by the Shadow Unit of Hamas Military Unit, Qassam Brigades, Israeli security forces said.

Recordings caught on stage showed she emerged from a broken house wearing a military uniform before she was paraded on a stage with Hamas warriors.

She waved against the crowd before signing papers with the Red Cross. She is now transferred to Israeli military forces in the Gaza Strip.

Berger was the last member of a non-wealthy unproven military unit that remains in captivity in Gaza. The team of seven women was taken hostage from Nahal Oz Military Base.

The Red Cross and Hamas -Vehicles arrive at Jabalia

Submission to take place in northern Gazas Jabalia Refugee Camp

The hostage delivery today is expected to take place in Jabalia Refugee Camp in Northern Gaza.

There was an NBC News crew a platform created with large posters with the logo of IDF battalion that fought in the area.

The hostages are set to be delivered from different parts of the enclave.

Abu Hamza, a spokesman for Islamic Jihad’s military wing, al-QDS brigades, said the militant group had already completed the procedures for the release of Arbel Yehoud, 29 and Gabi Moses, 80.

The eight hostages are expected to be released today

Three Israeli and five Thai hostages must be released as part of the ceasefire agreement, which will also see more than 100 Palestinian prisoners released from Israeli prisons.

Arbel Yehoud, 29, Agam Berger, 20, and Gadi Moses, 80, have been named as the Israeli hostages for release, but the names of their Thai colleagues have not been published.

Israeli officials expected Yehoud to be released last weekend, but Hamas instead released captivity in captivity, as Israel said was in violation of the deal.
