Rihanna in court as ASAP ROCKY ACCUSER describes alleged La -shooting

Rihanna appeared her first appearance in court during ASAP Rocky’s attack case on Wednesday, when the singer was sitting in the gallery when the Court of Los Angele’s court heard central testimony of an alleged shooting that could send her rap star partner to prison for almost 20 years.

At the witness was Terell Ephron, a co -founder of ASAP MOB, Harlem Rap Collective, who helped launch Rocky’s career. Known as ASAP Relli, Ephron testified that he met with Rocky, whose legal name is Rakim Mayers, in Hollywood on November 6, 2021, hoping to fix their broken friendship.

Ephron said the two had driven apart when Mayers’ star Rose and the other members of the crew struggled to find success. Apart from Mayers, most members of the ASAP crew are now “Broke or Bums,” Ephron testified earlier.

“I call him Mr. Six month man because I wanted to see him once every six months … When he had come around, he was fake. What should we be in this ASAP thing for? “Said Ephron. “It was all smoked and mirrors.”

Tensions between the two were tall that night, Ephron testified, after he overheard Mayers offended him on a phone call the day before. Ephron also mistakenly believed that Mayers had reproduced a promise to pay for the funeral of an ASAP collective member who had died of an overdose.

Ephron said he was hoping to blow the beef with Mayers when they met near W Hotel at night to the shooting, but Mayers showed up with two other members of the ASAP crew and immediately triggered a confrontation.

“It was all like a movie … just as he went … It all caught me away, as if there wasn’t time to talk,” Ephron said.

Prosecutors have accused Mayers of shooting at Ephron who suffered a grass wound on hand.

Mayers are charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and face a penalty to use a gun in the alleged crime. He has pleaded guilty, with lawyers who claimed that the gun used in the meeting was a music video -plug that was unable to shoot real bullets.

When Mayers arrived in court around 1 p.m. 9:45, he was flanked by his usual entourage and bullied by media, but his paramor was nowhere in sight. Rihanna’s presence in court was not confirmed until a little after 1 p.m. 10, when journalists saw her sitting among Mayers’ family dressed in a black peas and sports glasses.

The “umbrella” singer could see Ephron’s testimony intensely. She is not a witness in the case, though her relationship with Mayers came up during the election of the jury. La County Superior Judge Mark Arnold did not mention her presence, and it was not clear if the jury leader was aware that she was in court.

Her representatives have not answered previous requests for comments on the case.

There is video of the confrontation between Mayers and Ephron, but it does not show the full event.

A clip shows a man in a sweatshirt with hood, as prosecutors and Ephron says are Mayers who grab Ephron around his head and neck and then pull a gun from his waistband. Another shows the shooting at a distance, but does not clearly show anyone’s face, although it catches the sound of two tall pops that sound like shoots.

Mayers’ Defense Attorney Joe Tacopina-There will start reviewing Ephron Thursday-Has said weapons were a “prop-gun” that only fired items. Earlier this week, Tacopina acknowledged, under the question of Arnold, that he would not be able to produce the unit as evidence in the trial.

Ephron said Mayers pointed a gun to his head, face and chest when the two had a screaming fight. Ephron insisted that he had no intention of things to become violent and claimed he would not hurt his old friend or tank his career in the music industry.

“If I fight for Rocky … I’m already not wanted … So if I fight for him, I’ll definitely get black. All the labels like him and work with him, ”Ephron said.

The clash was interrupted when a couple passed by, according to Ephron. But just like things seemed to settle down, Ephron said he saw one of the men that Mayers brought with him – Jamel Phillips, known as ASAP Twelvyy – and removed a knife. At the time, Ephron said, he felt betrayed and furious.

“I’m like, oh, hell no. So now I go with them and I literally screamed out on the top of my lungs … How Rocky failed us and how Jamel went on a rock with Rocky for eight or nine years and he’s back in the projects, ” said Ephron. “I knew I would never see this guy again … I would probably have gone away if I hadn’t seen the knife.”

Ephron said he chased the Mayers and the others and continued to shout insults as they walked away. At the time, Ephron said, spun Mayers around and fired a shot down. In fear of his life, Ephron said, he grabbed the other man who showed up with Mayers – Illijah Ulanga, also known as ASAP Illz – and “used him as a shield.”

Ephron said he felt a burning sensation on his knuckles, and prosecutors showed pictures of two bloody scratches. Eventually, Rocky and the others fled, and Ephron went back to his hotel room.

Los Angeles police responded to the shooting after receiving a call of 911, but they found no evidence of a crime, according to body camera recordings played in court earlier this week.

Ephron said he went back to the stage about an hour later and found Shell Casings, which he turned into detectives on the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division the next day.

Tacopina earlier Ephron’s discovery of evidence of evidence that at least half a dozen police officers missed “miraculous.” He has also argued that Ephron only went to the police to strengthen his civilian case against Mayers over the shooting.

Ephron rejected the idea that he had achieved by talking against Mayers, saying his life and career took a sharp downturn ever since he contacted LAPD.

“It’s been a living hell. Death threats, ”he said. “People feel you a snitch … My artists turned on for me, my producers, they all turned on me, because of the decision I made.”
