Sparks expected to fly at Kash Patels Senat’s confirmation hearing for FBI -Director

President Donald Trump’s election to lead the FBI, Kash Patel, is expected to trade with bargains with legislators in his confirmation hearing for the Senate Legal Committee on Thursday.

However, the president and his allies have hardly defended Patel, with the Senate Court of Justice Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-tenn., Argues that Democrats are “scared” of Patel’s nomination and confirmation because of “what he wants to reveal” General Public.

“They are very scared of Kash Patel because Kash Patel knows what Adam Schiff and some of the others did with Russia – and they know he knows – dirt on them if you want – and I think, They are afraid of what he wants to do and what he wants to reveal, ”Blackburn said at Fox News on Sunday.

Patel, a native in New York, worked as a public defender in Florida’s Miami-Dade after serving his legal degree in 2005 from Pace University in New York City.

Patel’s National Name Recognition grew during the first Trump administration as he worked as National Security Advisor and Senior Counsel for The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence under the direction of rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif. Patel became known as the man behind the “Nunes Memo” — a four-page document that was released in 2018 that revealed incorrect use of Monitoring the FBI and The Ministry of Justice in Russia -the investigation of Trump.

Patel was appointed senior director for the fight against terrorism in the National Security Council in 2019. In this role he helped Trump the White House of removing foreign terror management, such as ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in 2019 and Al Qaida Terrorist Qasim al- Raymi in 2020, according to his biography. His efforts that ended terror threats during the Trump administration came after he won a DOJ award in 2017 for his prosecution and conviction of 12 terrorists responsible for World Cup -Bomb attack in 2010 in Uganda Under the Obama administration.

After the 2020 election, Patel remained a steadfast ally of Trumps, joining the 45th president during his trial in Manhattan in the spring of 2024, reiterating that the united states’ security and law enforcement authorities, including the FBI, must be reviewed.

Patel emphasized in his 2023 book, “Government Gangsters” that “Deep State” state staff have politicized and the weapon the law enforcement agency – and explicitly called for the renewal of the FBI in a chapter called “To review the FBI.”

“Things are bad. There’s nobody deny it,” he wrote in the book. “The FBI has seriously abused its power and threatened not only the rule of law, but the very foundation of self -government at the root of our democracy. But this is not the end of the story. Change is possible on the FBI and desperate need.”

“The fact is that we need a federal agency investigating federal crimes and that the agency will always be in danger of getting abused powers,” he wrote and advocates for firing of “corrupt actors”, “aggressive” congressional monitoring over the agency and the complete overhaul of special advisers.

Patel adds in his book: “The most important thing is that we have to get the FBI in hell out of Washington, DC, there is no reason why the country’s law enforcement agency should be centralized in the swamp.”

Trump invited the book as a “roadmap” to postpone bad actors in the federal government and said it is a “plan to help us take back in the White House and remove these gangsters from all over the government.”

Patel has spoken against a number of high profiled studies and questions he sees within the DOJ in the last few years. For example, he slammed, for example, for alleged burial of evidence related to the identity of a suspect who allegedly planted pipe bombs outside the headquarters of the Democratic and Republican parties in Washington, DC, one day ahead of January 6, 2021.

The Senate Democrats received an anonymous whistleblower report reported publicly Monday on Monday, claiming Patel violating the protocol during a hostage rescue mission in October 2020, a claim that Trump’s trajectory has brushed off.

The whistle claimed that Patel was leaking to the Wall Street Journal that two Americans and the remains of a third were transferred to American custody from Yemen, where they had been held hostage by Houthi rebels before the hostages were actually in American custody. Illinois Democratic Senator Dick Durbin, a ranking member of the Senate Legal Committee, achieved the whistleblower report.

A transition officer pushed back on the report in a statement to Fox News Digital Tuesday and said Patel has a “Track Record for success.”

Patel’s nomination comes after six of Trump’s nominees were confirmed by the Senate, including the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Defense Secretary Pete Hegeth – who was also considered a nominee facing an uphill confirmation match.
